By Maddie Darmstadt When a Stonehill international freshman opened an email threatening her with deportation she was left scared and confused. “Essentially it said I had broken some sort of visa regulation and that if I didn’t leave the United States in a timely manner then I would be forcibly removed,” said the student who asked not to be named. This email turned out to be a spear phishing attack – a form of phishing tailored to the specific person receiving the email.

Health Services is helping students combat cold season
