Recreational Sports has been offering online exercise classes via Zoom, giving students the opportunity to continue to participate in Stonehill’s group exercise classes through a live stream.
A variety of classes including zumba, total body, yoga, and barre, are being offered to students and faculty at Stonehill. The online classes allow students and faculty to stay involved with the exercise classes and to continue to be physically active despite being at home.
Grace Canty, a junior at the College, is one of the many students who would attend classes on campus. “I was really happy when they decided to move the classes to online because I loved going to Briget’s barre classes on Mondays and Fridays on campus. I also think it is important for all of us to stay active during this time and having these classes motivate me to get moving,” Canty said.
Barre with Briget is offered Wednesdays at noon and Fridays at 3:00 p.m., and requires little to no equipment.
Students and faculty are encouraged to check their emails from Recreational Sports in order to stay up to date on group exercise classes and the schedules.
