New leaders and familiar faces: SGA's class committee results

Stonehill’s SGA General Assembly election results are in, and a new group of students will lead the representative body for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

Ian O’Connor, ‘26 won the presidency for a third consecutive year, prepared to continue leading his class. Gracie Sacca, ‘26, was elected public relations chair, highlighting her strong connection with the student body.

 

Liv Connor, ‘26, won the role of class representative, committed to advocating for students’ well-being. Q Robinson, ‘26, came out on top as the diversity chair, hoping to make Stonehill a more inclusive and open-minded place.

 

Remonda Mankarios, ‘27, captured the presidency for the class of 2027, promising to give students a voice on campus. Jayden Crafts, ‘27, secured the vice-president position, pledging to put the needs of students first.

 

Angel Sor, ‘27, was elected diversity chair, running on the importance of equality and inclusion. Angela Demaio, ‘27, won the position of class representative, encouraging students to share new and exciting ideas on campus.

 

The entire class committee for the class of 2028 was reelected. Nick Bazirgan, ‘28, was reelected as president, prepared to continue leading his class. Jenna Dumais, ‘28, was reelected to the vice-presidency, wanting to be the person others could turn to for advice.

 

Jaime St. Onge, ‘28, secured the public relations chair position after citing her experience in marketing and advertising. Lorena Carranza, ‘28, won the diversity chair, with a desire to hear different perspectives from students.

 

Clodagh Duffy, ‘28, came out on top as the class representative, emphasizing her past accomplishments in student government.

 

The vice-president for the class of 2026 and the public relations chair for the class of 2027 have yet to be filled. There will be a special election in August 2025 for those positions.

 

Stonehill’s newly elected SGA members will represent the student body throughout the 2025-2026 school year.
