Chief Wordell resigns

Police Chief David Wordell has resigned from the Stonehill department, the College announced to faculty and staff Wednesday.

Wordell is being replaced by Lt. Rochelle Ryan as Acting Chief while a search for a replacement is conducted, the email announcement by Vice President for Finance, Jeanne Finlayson said.

“We will continue to provide updates to the community on the appointment of a permanent Chief,” Finlayson said in her email to faculty and staff.
