A summary of reported bias incidents released by the College shows that race-based incidents received the most reports during the second half of 2024.
The summary, covering reported bias incidents from July 2024 to Dec. 2024, shows five reported incidents based on a person’s race and color.

There were three reports based on gender, three based on gender identity, one involving gender expression, and one reported incident involving sexual orientation. There was also a single reported incident involving disabilities.
The reported incidents were addressed by various departments on campus.
“Of the 13 reports, [the] Office of Intercultural Affairs resolved seven and Human Resources resolved six. Four of the 13 reports were resolved in collaboration with Campus Partners (e.g., Campus Ministry, Community Standards, Student Affairs/Dean of Students, and Residence Life),” the summary said.
